Jennifer Jennings is a commercial insurance agent with 25 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation as well as Property & Casualty, Temporary Staffing and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) insurance within the retail and wholesale settings. Her approach to underwriting and evaluating risk is critical to the Nixer Comp program. Rather than employing black-and-white box-checking, Jennifer sees the big picture and looks for ways to say “YES” to partners, then works with them to improve their operations and achieve optimal results. Jennifer holds a Florida 220 license.

A seasoned expert in litigation management, Workers’ Compensation and Employee Benefits, Michael Wright leads the strategic development and continuous improvement of our Claims Management Program. He has more than 15 years of industry experience working with Fortune 500 companies as well as small, midsize, and large-cap Staffing Agencies and PEOs. Michael possesses a keen insight into the claims process and the know-how to harness today’s most powerful technology to drive claims to better outcomes.

Joy Hughley is our Vice President of Compliance. Joy has over 20 years of workers compensation, claims, adjusting, and program management experience spanning multiple industries, municipalities, jurisdictions, and top national Claims TPAs. At Nixer Comp, Joy’s responsibilities include program implementation, training, communication, and compliance – helping our policyholders take advantage of strategies, systems, and controls so that our mutual goals become a reality.

In addition to her years of experience, Joy has her 520 All Line’ Adjuster’s License, a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and advanced training in Communication and Coaching.

Valerie Peer

Valerie Peer has more than 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry and is a subject matter expert in Workers’ Compensation insurance with an emphasis in pay-as-you-go captive business models. Her leadership experience includes building, operating, and heading cross-functional departments both within her organization and with partner providers. At Nixer Comp, her areas of responsibility include accounting, audit, captive oversight, financial planning and reporting, human resources, tax, and treasury functions. Valerie’s extensive professional experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and education deliver innovative options that result in a win-win for customers, partners and organizations.

Valerie holds the professional tax credential of Enrolled Agent, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University.

David Kinsella is a Partner, Director, and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Nixer Comp, Inc. and Nixer Comp Reinsurance, Ltd. (Bermuda).

David’s expansive experience has predominantly been in strategic operational management and international business.  His 20 years of experience, primarily encompasses the management of large-scale construction projects in the US, Australia, Canada & Europe with emphasizes on safety, financial systems, and ISO systems implementation.  This experience, as well as acute business acumen enables David to engineer innovative solutions.

David qualified with a BEng. in Civil Engineering and holds a Florida 220 license.

Rob Schild

Rob Schild is a Partner, Director, and serves as President of Nixer Comp, Inc. and Nixer Comp Reinsurance, Ltd. (Bermuda).

On April 1st, 2020, Rob retired as a Partner and National Staffing Practice Director at Insurance Office of America (IOA). Over the past 20-years, Rob developed a best-in-class staffing program focused on increasing profit margins for the Temporary Staffing industry by identifying, creating, implementing, and supporting solutions that produce best-in-class results. His program has been described as “RCS on steroids” and was highly effective in reducing his staffing client’s total cost of risk.

In 2018, having met his current business partners, and proceeding with the core belief that if one of the stakeholders lose, all the stakeholders lose, Rob envisioned and created a different type of program – a Staffing Friendly program. Nixer Comp clearly defines Pre-Hire, Post-Hire, Pre-Claim, and Post-Claim best-practices known as our Program Pillars. The Program Pillars are focused on reducing the exposures from four areas that plague the Temporary Staffing Industry – the Candidate, Employee, Prospect, and Client. The program creates a winning team between the Temporary Staffing Company, Insurance Agent, and Workers’ Compensation carrier by providing the infrastructure, tools, systems, controls, and support tailored specifically to help Temporary Staffing companies achieve best-in-class results.
